Bernard Madoff and I spent over a year of our lives together in Butner Federal Prison. Bernard Madoff was sent there because he was the mastermind behind the largest Ponzi scheme in history. I was serving time for illegally selling 5.4 million tablets of Hydrocodone over a period of four years. Now that I’m out of Prison I would like to share my Bernard Madoff story. I hope you enjoy the story of my life, but also realize I made numerous mistakes throughout it.
The most important question regarding the entire Bernard Madoff scandal in my opinion is ……WHY?…Why would Bernard Madoff a very affluent, well respected, and successful individual wake up one morning and decide to throw it all away with a fraud? NEW YORK (AP) — One of Bernard Madoff’s sons was found dead of an apparent suicide Saturday on the second anniversary of his father’s arrest, according to a law enforcement official.
Bernard Madoff’s son Mark Madoff, 46, was found hanged in his apartment in Manhattan’s fashionable SoHo section, according to the official. A family member notified police around 7:30 a.m.
